Pray for Malaysia

The motto of the World Day of Prayer is "Informed Prayer, Prayerful Action". Malaysia is a good model of racial integration with its multiracial, multicultural and multi-religious community living in harmony with one another.
Malaysia is a nation of diverse cultures, races and religions. About 7 % of Malaysians are Christians. Vision 2020 is Malaysia's long term goal to become a developed nation, achieve a balanced growth and a high quality of life by 2020.
"Where there is no vision, the people perish"
Proverbs 29 : 18

Friday Oct.21 - Sunday Oct.23

Rev. Jose T. Abraham opened the convention with a prayer. We were fortunate to have Rev. Geevarghese Kochummen from St.Stephen's Marthoma Church, Fords, NJ as a guest. We were blessed to have Prof. David Abraham (Retd.), Christian  College, Chengannur as our distinguished speaker. He gave us a series  of messages on absolute truth in relative terms.  He talked about the spiritual gifts, communion with God and how truth  should be pure, perfect and permanent. He quoted several scriptures  from Romans 5, Hebrews, 2 Timothy, James and Psalms as he preached about the Word of God.  It was indeed a reforming, recharging and renewing experience for our Parish.
