Edavaka Mission

Taking the love of Christ beyond our walls — serving New Jersey's neighbors with compassion, faithfulness, and the transforming power of the Gospel.

Outreach Ministry

The Church Beyond the Walls

Edavaka Mission is the outreach arm of the Mar Thoma Church — the parish in action beyond Sunday morning. "Edavaka" means "congregation" in Malayalam, and this ministry embodies the calling of the whole congregation to love and serve the world around us.

In New Jersey, the Edavaka Mission committee coordinates local service projects, charitable giving, and gospel witness. Every 1st Saturday at 9:00 AM, the team gathers to pray, plan, and engage in the work of mission. A weekly Bible Study is also held every Wednesday at 7:30 PM.
